Facebook is leveraging the holiday season to create some more excitement towards its Messenger app that has recently crossed the 500 million user mark. Messenger users will have access to a new range of holiday stickers.
The Messenger app, a part of Facebook’ multi-app strategy, is an easy way for users to connect and keep in touch with their friends and family, and the holiday stickers will make the experience more festive, as per the social media major.
The new ‘Stickered for Messenger’ app is developed by FB’s Creative Labs, which also developed its previous apps including Slingshot, Rooms and Group.
The new app also includes holiday fun features like a festive frame for your New Year’s Eve selfies, snow globe chat heads and holiday inspired sticker packs.
