Google Adds Insights Cards To Analytics App

Google Analytics
Google Analytics just became smarter. In the update to the app, Google has injected automated insights, which is on similar lines as seen on Google Now. The objective is to provide an in-app assistant to users who can then access growth and decline insights on the various kinds of information available on Google Analytics such as ecommerce conversion rate, change in users, average session duration, content behavior and the likes.

The machine learning powered set of insights is available on the newly added Assistant tab on Analytics.

In the current avatar, Assistant not only gives instant information cards but the user can also choose areas of interest, give feedback on whether the insight was useful and will also see tips in cases where decline trends are observed or if a trend is below average.

Users can also customize the insights dashboard with the kind of insights and parameters that are of significance to them. They can also share the insights via email or text or other apps.
