Have You Taken The #DigitalFasting Challenge Yet?

In the spirit of self-reflection and realigning personal values to focus on the valuable essence of life, du along with UAE resident Omar Bin Haider kicked off its #digitalfasting campaign to commit to going offline between Suhoor and Iftar.

With the aim of reconnecting with himself, his friends and family, and as part of the initiative, Omar will undergo a set of challenges throughout the month, to highlight how he can get back in touch with the world around him. Using basic tools such as a non-digital camera and paper map to document and navigate his way through the month, Omar and du aim to prove that going offline and leading a regular life, can be achieved. du will share Omar’s adventures on du’s YouTube and social media channels, in addition to du.ae/Ramadan.

With this innovative campaign, du is urging people from all walks of life to join the #digitalfasting movement and rediscover life without technology. Whether users choose to go offline for an hour, a day or an entire month, they are encouraged to use the hashtag #digitalfasting and share their experiences on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
