Lisbon Ad Festival Calls On Young & Aspiring Creative Professionals

The Lisbon International Advertising Festival has introduced the Young Lisbon Category in this year’s festival. This category aims at bringing out the creative side of young advertising students and aspiring professionals under 30 years of age. The submissions are entirely free of cost.

For participation, the candidates need to create a print campaign capable of promoting Lisbon as one of the world’s most appealing gastronomical destinations. Entries are open till July 29, 2016.

A distinct panel from the remainder categories will judge the work submitted to the Young Lisbon category. The jury comprises a group of Portuguese creatives including Alexandre Montenegro from Show Off Films; Duarte Vilaça from Born; Hugo Antonelo from Funny How; José Marques from Human Lisboa; Ricardo Nunes from MindShare and Rodrigo Gralheiro from J. Walter Thompson.

Carmo Rosa from the Lisbon City Hall and Sofia Sobral from the Dom Pedro Hotels Chain will also be joining the jury panel as representatives of the Festival’s partners.

The results for the Young Lisbon category will be announced at the Festival’s ceremony on the September 14, 2016 at Cinema São Jorge, Lisbon.
