Mindshare has created a new role for the region. The agency has appointed Ravi Rao, the outgoing Leader of Mindshare South Asia as its Chief Client Officer. Effective May 1, 2015, Mr Rao will be based in Dubai to assume the new role.
Mr Rao joined Mindshare, South Asia in 2008 and took over as Leader for the market in 2012. No stranger to the MENA market, Mr Rao was earlier part of the JWT Dubai and the Mindshare MENA team during its inception in 1999. He also worked with OMD Dubai before moving to India.
“I am excited to take on this new role within the Mindshare family. The market has exhibited good growth over the past few years and I look forward to strengthening our position in the MENA region,” said Mr Rao.
