Galderma, the medical solutions company of Nestlé Skin Health, expanded its awareness campaign on the importance of skincare protection by engaging Al Ain-based education professionals at the Garden City’s Teachers Come Back Season Festival 2016. Held at the Rotana Al Ain Aquarius Pool Arena, the event saw hundreds of teachers working in Al Ain attend a one-off event featuring a live performance by Simon Webbe – of boy band Blue Fame – and experience product activations by numerous local and international brands and service providers.

In addition to providing attendees with information on how they can care for their skin health, Galderma staff distributed samples of its pharmacy-only skincare and suncare products from the Cetaphil, Daylong and Cetaphil Baby ranges.

“We believe that it’s never too early to start taking care of your skin and teachers provide a great avenue to target families and the wider community on the skincare benefits of Cetaphil, Daylong and Cetaphil Baby products,” said Hesham Abdallah, Regional Director – Middle East and Africa.

While Cetaphil has been available in UAE since 2007, Galderma recently launched its Daylong sun care range.

“Since Galderma made its official debut in the UAE last year, we’ve been targeting various communities on our vision of holistic healthcare – an approach designed to enhance quality of life by delivering science-based solutions for the health of skin, hair and nails over the course of people’s lives. Focused on maintaining, enhancing and nourishing skin and treating and restoring skin to its healthy state, Galderma has an ambition to develop medical education and contribute responsibly among the wider UAE society,” added Mr Abdallah.

The Galderma products received positive feedback from those attending the Al Ain festival, with one teacher commenting: “I’ve discovered an amazing new range of products for my skin, as well as brands that I would happily recommend to my family and my students.”
