Souq.com, an e-commerce website in the MENA region, announced the launch of the Souq.com Affiliates Program. The Affiliates Program will enable any individual or business to earn commission from sales on Souq.com which were derived from their website. Anyone, from large businesses through to individuals, can participate in this affiliate scheme; individuals can even generate revenue by driving traffic and sales through personal social media profiles on sites such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Affiliates will receive commission for any sales regardless of whether it has come from a desktop or mobile device.

This announcement comes only a month after Souq.com launched its Developer Program, which allows any business to ‘white label’ the Souq.com platform to launch its own e-commerce site.

“We have launched the Affiliates Program to continue our approach of taking partners along in our growth and building long term, mutually rewarding relationships. The program offers another great partnership opportunity where anyone can monetize their own traffic and reach,” commented Ronaldo Mouchawar, CEO & Co-Founder, Souq.com.

“The Souq.com Affiliates Program provides a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs and businesses to generate an additional ongoing revenue stream for themselves. We have over 600,000 product listings on Souq.com and over 30 Million visits per month. We register a sale on average every 1.5 second. Souq.com’s brand equity, its wide range of products, its creative advertising material and hassle-free shopping model will ensure a great experience for users and higher earnings for affiliates,” shared Anirudh Rao Gauravaram, Regional Head – Affiliate Marketing at Souq.com.

Affiliates can earn up to 10% commission on the total sale value every time a user clicks their banner and links, and completes a transaction. Affiliates get paid for all transactions that originate through their links, irrespective of the product the user buys, and not just the specific products that are advertised.
