Kitchen Nation, a fully equipped culinary incubator has opened its doors in the UAE, encouraging foodie entrepreneurs and innovators to bring their concepts to the F&B market. The F&B sector in UAE is thriving at the moment. However, due to lack of resources, experience and networks a number of startups never see the light of day.
Kitchen Nation aims to provide a platform for these individuals allowing them to nurture their talent through joined services and a support system.
The idea of establishing a culinary incubator was born when Rami Salous, Founder and CEO of Kitchen Nation, struggled with getting permits for his newly bought food truck. Finding a small space around the city of Dubai was almost impossible, and renting a big space did not make sense for a start-up food entrepreneur.
“I purchased a food truck from the US and brought it to Dubai when food trucks had just started to emerge in the region, however, getting all the paperwork sorted was time-consuming and costly,” said Mr Salous.
The concept of a kitchen incubator has been successful around the world in cities such as New York and London, however, it is still a novel concept in the UAE.
Located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Kitchen Nation is committed to bringing bootstrap entrepreneurs together under the same roof and giving them a helping hand to take the first courageous step. “This kitchen is not a charity, but an empowering community transformation,” said Mr Salous.
Kitchen Nation hopes to grow and become a world-renowned brand in the world of culinary incubators.
