Almost all the markets where Snapchat teen membership is highest are mature, relatively affluent countries. With such a vast reach among a demographic that is perennially coveted by brands and marketers, Snap Inc. is in a powerful position heading into its IPO.
And with the launch of Spectacles, its new smart glasses, the company will be hoping to solidify the interest of its core users even as the demographics of the Snapchat audience continue to broaden.
