Y&R Dubai was the only agency that won in the Mobile category at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Y&R Dubai had created this campaign for a company in India, addressing the high traffic problems in the country.
The agency brought home a Silver for its campaign ‘The Traffic Gaaye’ for Videocon. The campaign highlights issue of traffic congestion in India. The video shows the roads of Delhi and how cows roam freely on busy roads of the city, managing the pace of how the traffic moves. Utilizing this thought, Videocon with the help of Y&R Dubai, equipped these cows with recorders and through its ‘Traffic Gaaye’ app, were able to send out information to travelers about traffic jams and shorter routes.
