Danone MENA Consolidates Media Mandate With Mindshare

Following a multiagency pitch process, Danone has consolidated the media duties of three of its businesses with a single agency. Beating Havas Media and Initiative, Mindshare MENA has won the media duties for Alsafi Danone, Danone Nutricia and Danone Waters. The mandate that also includes digital, will be effective in 2015, covering the GCC and Levant region.

Alsafi Danone’s Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, Rizwan Ali commented, “The Danone media pitch was an extensive exercise that started in March, 2014, and it took us 10 months to finally select Mindshare as our media agency.”

“Although the capabilities and talent from all three agencies were quite remarkable, it was Mindshare’s proposition that stood out versus others and proved to be the best fit in providing us the direction we needed in digital media, integrated strategic planning and value creation,” he added.
