Mindshare Names New MDs For Jordon & Iraq; New Digital Head MENA

Mindshare MENA has begun the year with some important changes in its senior management. Jac Asmar has been appointed as Managing Director of Mindshare Iraq, and his role as Managing Director of Mindshare Jordan will be taken over by Osama Nabulsi.

“Ensuring the success of Mindshare’s regional branches begins with exceptional management, both Asmar and Nabulsi are skilled and innovative professionals that will be invaluable to their agencies and Mindshare as a whole,” commented Samir Ayoub, CEO, Mindshare MENA.

Moving on from Jordon, where he worked for almost three years, Mr Asmar will relocate to Baghdad to lead Mindshare Iraq’s offices in the capacity of Managing Director.

“I am so excited to begin my new role at Mindshare Iraq and work with such a dedicated and creative team,” said Mr Asmar on his new appointment.

Replacing him as Managing Director of Mindshare Jordan is Mr Nabulsi, Prior to his appointment, Mr Nabulsi developed his career in several roles across the advertising and media industries at Seagulls, Publicis Graphics Jordan, and OMS, an independent brand engagement company that he established in 2010.

On his appointment, Mr Nabulsi said, “The time is ideal to take the next step with Mindshare.”

The media agency has also brought a change to Mindshare’s team in the United Arab Emirates with the appointment of Nicholas Coetzee has the new Regional Head of Digital at Mindshare MENA.

Mr Coetzee is an expert in a diverse array of fields related to digital media, launching two unique media agencies and lending his skills to several others. He also gained international marketing experience at Wunderman Interactive (WPP) in Europe, where he tackled strategy across 21 countries along with launched an agency to address inVentiv Health’s media needs in the US and Europe.

“Dubai has always been a location that really interests me. Secondly, I missed working for a large network agency like Mindshare,” said Mr Coetzee.

“The Mindshare MENA team is excited to welcome Nicholas Coetzee to the family. We value his sense of initiative and his rich skillset in this important role to take our digital offering to the next level,” commented Mr Ayoub.
