20 Finalists Make It To SSW 2020-21

The 20 winners advancing to the final stage of the Online Seedstars World Competition 2020/21 (SSW) have been declared. From 94 startups, only 20 are moving on to the Regional Finals for a chance to secure a spot at the Grand Finale, the final round of competition. In the Finale, only one startup will emerge as the Global winner, receiving the grand prize of $500K in funding.

“With how hard and unexpected 2020 was to each one of us, it was really amazing to see our finalists grow over the competition while going through the Online Seedstars Academy as well as the 1 month Investment Readiness Program. It’s going to be an exciting Regional Finals!” said Eugenia Shevchenko, Lead of the Competition.

Seedstars annually holds the Seedstars World Competition to scout for the most promising startups around the Asia, Africa, CEE, MENA, and LATAM regions. Each startup now has a spot at the Regional Finals with a chance to pitch at the Grand Finale and win a grand prize of USD 500K in equity investment, explains the agency.

The regional finals is said to be aired on April 12-16, 2021 that will feature the startups battling it out for their spots in the Grand Finale.

The startup finalists moving on to the Grand Finale are as follows:
MENA Global Finalists – Fulfillment Bridge (Tunisia), BiomWeb (Lebanon), Al-Mawwan (Egypt), Droobi (Qatar)
LATAM Global Finalists – Pegasi (Venezuela), Alfi (Peru), Klouser (Argentina)
Asia Global Finalists – ODESH (Papua New Guinea), Smartfuture (Singapore) Finology (Malaysia), ELN (Pakistan)
CEE Global Finalists – IMAN (Uzbekistan), Alter (Russia), Payze (Georgia), Noomee (Armenia)
Africa Global Finalists – Flamingoo Foods (Tanzania), Ladda (Nigeria), Rohobot (Ethiopia), Sparco (Zambia), Capture Solutions (Ivory Coast).
