Amazon has launched Amazon Home Services, a new marketplace for on demand professional services in the United Arab Emirates. In just a few clicks, customers can browse, purchase and schedule over 70 professional services directly on Amazon.ae from the comfort and safety of their own home.
The curated list of on-demand services on Amazon Home Services includes home cleaning & improvement, AC cleaning, mobile repair, pet grooming, car washing and furniture assembly, installation of Ring devices, as well as services that have recently become essential, such as home disinfection and furniture cleaning.
As part of Amazon Home Services, customers can now also add professional installation and assembly services when buying eligible products on Amazon.ae such as TVs, treadmills and other sports equipment, furniture, as well as work-from-home office products such as desks and office chairs. At launch, Amazon Home Services will be available to customers across most locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

Handpicked Providers: Amazon curates an invite only marketplace of professional service providers. Invited providers are carefully selected and vetted, required to carry applicable insurance and licenses, and operate to the highest of standards.
Happiness Guarantee: Amazon wants customers to buy with confidence, which is why all service purchases are covered by the Happiness Guarantee program which promises customer satisfaction.
Upfront Pricing: Each service comes with a pre-defined scope of work and upfront pricing, so there are no surprises or hidden fees after the service is completed.
Easy scheduling: Customers can add services right to their cart with just a few clicks and choose the date and time that fits their schedule.

Amazon Home Services is available through both the Amazon app and via mobile and desktop browser on Amazon.ae. Customers can book appointments simply by searching for the desired service using the search bar or by visiting amazon.ae/services. Customers who already have an existing account on Amazon.ae can sign in using their credentials to begin purchasing services, while customers new to Amazon can create an account in a few easy steps on the Amazon app or via the browser.

Keeping safety as its number one priority, Amazon rolled out robust health and safety guidelines for all Amazon Home Services providers. In addition to standard health and safety best practice measures, these guidelines also comply with COVID-19 related recommendations from authorities such as the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Department of Economic Development in the UAE, and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The company also stated that Helpbit services will now be available through Amazon Home Services. Since Amazon’s acquisition of Souq.com in 2017, Amazon has been focused on integrating Souq and its subsidiaries with the Amazon offerings. The aim is to provide customers with a great service, a trusted online shopping experience and an ever growing array of products and services at low prices.
