Moonton Technology Co., Ltd, a video game developer and publisher, and Esports Middle East LLC (ESME), a world-leading esports and gaming solutions provider based in the Middle East, have announced a partnership for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Middle East and North Africa Series (MLBB MENA). The collaboration will entail organizing a full set of online and offline tournaments in the region, divided into two seasonal splits – Spring Split and Fall Split – to fight for a $200,000 prize pool and crown a regional victor who will represent MENA in the 2022 M4 World Championship.

Over the course of six months, beginning with the Spring Split in early January 2022, ESME will use their industry-leading innovations in tournament operations and broadcasting to create a recurring competitive space, as well as shine a light on local talents in one of the most iconic and widely known mobile titles in the world.

The MLBB MENA Series tournament will be free to enter, with specific rules and conditions for eligibilities, and will be hosted on ESME’s proprietary AI-powered esports league platform, Arab Esports. Teams will register for an open qualifier in each split, in a Swiss system round-robin format, where the top teams of each season will eventually battle for supremacy at the end of the year in a live event in Dubai, UAE*.
