The Lisbon International Advertising Festival has extended its submission’s deadline and has made the entry process online. Submissions deadline have been extended till the 12th of August.
The festival is seen as the new global advertising festival located in Portugal, which also aims to be the most local of festivals, since the submitted work is eligible to win a global as well as a regional award.
Since its formation, the festival has partnered up with globally distinguished vessels of communication from the advertising field, such as the German magazine Lürzer’s Archive, the English magazine Shots, the app The Next Gag, the Brazilian periodical AdNews, The Arabian Marketer, the Spanish MarketingDirecto.com, the blog Jazarah, the aggregator Coloribus, the Argentinian Latin Spots, Media Avataar India, Media Avataar Middle East, Adeevee and Media Buzz from Singapore.
The festival’s Executive Jury will be presided by Washington Olivetto, Chairman at W/McCann and CCO McCann Worldgroup Latin America. The jury members include Alasdhair Macgregor (VP ECD at BETC), Chacho Puebla (Chief Creative Officer and Partner at LOLA MullenLowe), Dörte Spengler-Ahrens (CCO at Jung von Matt Elbe), Eugene Cheong (Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy & Mather, Asia Pacific & Singapore), Fabio Seidl (Group Creative Director at 360i), Jaime Mandelbaum (Chief Creative Officer at Young & Rubicam Europe), Jason Romeyko (Global Chief Creative Officer of the GSK & Deutsche Telekom accounts, and the Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland), Luis Silva Dias (Chief Creative Officer for FCB International), Ramzy Haddad (Executive Creative Director of Publicis Middle East at MENA Region) and Sarah Barclay (Executive Creative Director of J. Walter Thompson New York).
The Lisbon International Advertising Festival will take place on the 14th of September.
