The event that brought Dr Philip Kotler to the Middle East is back. The Saudi Marketing Conference will be held on November 29 and 30 at Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

Organized by ‘Think Out’ for the first time in 2009, the conference was conceived by creative thinkers and experts in marketing, media & academia. Speaking about their initiative, Mahmoud AbuJubara, Executive Director, Think Out said, “Over the past few years, Think Out worked with all stakeholders successfully to build the image of The  Saudi Marketing Conference as the place where all professional marketers meet and exchange ideas and best practices.”

In 2014, the Saudi Marketing Conference ensured to reach out to professionals and provide them with a creative networking platform where they can hear and seek inspiration from global and regional leadership. Speaking about the aim of the conference Mr AbuJubara said, “We want to ensure that those who attend the conference can learn about strategic marketing & business goals, improve their personal skills, and adapt to new customer service methodologies. That is why we ensure our speakers are not just from Middle East and North Africa but are known for their pioneering role globally.”

This year the conference will touch upon various topics. Some of these are, transforming social media from a cost center to a profit center; smart marketing : promoting new projects over new media, building brand experience; paid, earned and owned : is content the new king of marketing?; costumer service excellence for Saudi market, KPI’s to advertise on Facebook and Instagram, how to build a career in social media.

“With eight presentations, eight workshops and four discussion panels, we hope that the most valuable takeaway for those who attend the conference are ways to excel in customer service and thereby increase sales,” added Mr AbuJubara.
