What seems to be good news for car lovers, Lebanon based W Motors – the makers of the $3.4 million Lykan HyperSport car, which rose to fame after being featured in Fast & Furious 7 – is soon going to start the first super-car manufacturing facility in the Middle East. The production in the facility will begin by January 2016.
“By beginning next year, we’ll start producing the cars in Dubai. Our first car will be assembled by January 2016. By then we’re going to move a step further into the technology to start production for our new car which is going to be a 4X4, fully produced, fully designed, in Dubai,” said Ralph Debbas, CEO, W Motors.
W Motors has taken on board 15 strategic technical partners for the smooth functioning and management of the facility. It is expected to be a fully equipped plant of supercars, luxury sedans, economical cars and electrical vehicles.
“This is my dream. We love cars, why don’t we build them? Instead of us going to Europe or America to say they built these cars, now it’s time for us to show them what we can do. We have the experience for it, we have created the most incredible car in the world here, I think we can do an incredible job,” continued Mr Debbas.
