Alma Health, a fully-verticalized digital healthcare provider created to transform the lives of individuals living with chronic conditions, has graduated from Hub71’s Incentive Program, designed by Abu Dhabi’s global tech ecosystem. Hub71’s Incentive Program supports founders on their journeys toward scaling successful tech startups from the UAE capital, and is designed to provide incentives most suited to founders’ needs, while also facilitating investment and funding opportunities through Hub71’s ecosystem of corporate and government partners and investors.

Set to become a vanguard digital healthcare provider specialized in chronic condition management, Alma Health leveraged Hub71’s network to engage and work closely with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including regulators and insurance providers.

With Abu Dhabi being Alma Health’s current largest market, the company has served over 10,000 users in the Emirate alone, and its Annual Recurring Revenue has grown 11 times in the span of one year. Hub71 not only acted as a launch-pad to quickly scale in Abu Dhabi, but also allowed the company to expand to major adjacent markets such as Riyadh and Cairo, providing further access to exponential growth in the region.

Alma Health comes in as a key solution to the millions of people living with chronic conditions, offering individuals virtual doctor consultations directly via the application with one of the company’s licensed, in-house physicians and convenient lab tests, which can be done in the comfort of one’s home. From there, users can obtain prescriptions on a renewal basis and are provided with same-day delivery of their prescription medication at no added cost. Individuals can also benefit from a second opinion on their chronic condition as well as a customized management plan.

Khaldoon Bushnaq, Co-Founder, Alma Health says, “Two years ago, we walked into Hub71 with an idea. Today, this idea has become a fully-fledged company with a team of healthcare professionals and software developers working side-by-side to transform the lives of the millions of people living with chronic conditions not only in Abu Dhabi but also in Dubai, Cairo and Riyadh. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support Alma Health received from Hub71. I am forever grateful for the Hub71 team and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi Tech Hub.”

Ahmad Ali Alwan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Hub71, added, “We are proud of the many success stories that emerge from Hub71’s startup community. The Program enables startups to unlock commercial and investment opportunities that create lasting impact in Abu Dhabi and beyond. Startups that graduate from the program can continue their next phase of growth with access to our valuable resources, partner networks and programs that can continue to support their ambitions.”

Alma Health is a vanguard digital healthcare provider on a mission to transform the lives of millions of people living with chronic conditions. With a successful growth journey in Abu Dhabi and current expansion into other UAE emirates Egypt and Saudi, the company has plans to scale operations to adjacent markets and launch new healthcare products with further funding in the pipeline.
