Emirates has confirmed that the Friends Fame actress Jennifer Aniston has been roped in as the new face of the Dubai-based airline.
While Emirates did not disclose any details on the advertising campaigns as well as the deal worth, Boutros Boutros, the airline’s divisional SVP for corporate communications, marketing and brand said, “We can confirm that we are working with Ms Jennifer Aniston on a global digital and television campaign. We do not wish to discuss contract details, and more information about the campaign will be unveiled in due course.”
It was reportedly said that Jennifer Aniston has signed a USD5 million deal with Emirates airline. Reports also suggested that a high-profile campaign was already shot and will appear in TV and print ads worldwide.
This would be the second time, this year, that a Hollywood actress has been approached for a brand campaigning for a Middle east based airline. Earlier, actress Nicole Kidman became the brand face for Etihad Airways, the second largest airlines in the UAE after Emirates airlines.
Previously, the UAE airlines clinched other high profile deals including renaming FA Cup to Emirates FA Cup.
