Memac Ogilvy, Y&R Front Runners In Outdoor Lions

Out of the 495 shortlists in the Outdoor Lions category at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region has nabbed 21 shortlists.

Memac Ogilvy Dubai and Y&R Dubai received the maximum number with six shortlists each. Memac Ogilvy Dubai got shortlists for its ‘Bed’, ‘Lamp’, ‘Nightstand’, ‘Table’, ‘BookCase’ campaigns for IKEA – Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, Y&R Dubai received shortlists for ‘Sunglasses’, ‘Bag’, ‘Ring’, ‘Make Up’ and ‘Shoes’ campaigns for brand The Cartel.

The second highest shortlist was received by J. Walter Thompson Dubai with five shortlists for ‘Onion’ for Kenwood, ‘Global Transfer’ for HSBC and ‘John Mcenroe’, ‘Winston Churchill’, ‘Marilyn Monroe’ for Kinokunya.

The other shortlists were received by Impact BBDO Dubai and TBWA\RAAD. The jury for the category was led by Ricardo John, Chief Creative Officer at J. Walter Thompson.
