BPG Group CEO Avi Bhojani explains that the changes come following an exhaustive internal review of the business that will benefit both existing and prospective clients while energizing the company’s multinational team of marketing services professionals. “As a 36-year old business we have built our success in Dubai and the region on ensuring that we continually refresh and re-energize our business to ensure we are at the forefront of innovation in communication to deliver the best product offering to our clients through our integrated business model,” said Mr Bhojani.

“These changes will ensure a stronger strategic focus and digital offer at a group-wide level to ensure we deliver creative and high impact business solutions to clients across the region,” he added.

Under the new structure, Chief Operating Officer Nitin Puri assumes a stronger role and will be responsible for growing the agency’s regional capability, overseeing a new group-wide strategy team led by Strategy Director Kevin Jones who moves to the role from BPG Bates, managing a central new business function that will be driven by entrepreneur turned Business Director Chad Hussain in addition to his HR and Finance responsibilities.

The advertising and creative business, BPG Bates, sees refreshed leadership with long-serving agency stalwart Suneesh Menon assuming the role of Managing Director ensuring a highly relevant and stimulating offer is delivered.

At its public relations division BPG Cohn & Wolfe, Kevin Hasler takes on the role of Managing Director with a brief to focus on a greater digital offer and further developing the growing corporate communications and consultancy strength the business offers across the region.

Meanwhile a more integrated and developed social media offer has been created with the move from BPG Maxus to BPG Cohn & Wolfe of Hameed Yousuf as Account Director, Digital, to lead the agency’s social media business.

The Group’s core media planning and buying unit BPG Maxus will continue to lead the change in the media space as its offer becomes increasingly digital to reflect the region’s growing online communications landscape. “The changes we have made will ensure that the BPG Group can become more nimble than ever in the way we focus our energies, creativity and passion to deliver solutions for our clients while helping us become an even more contemporary company for the future,” added Mr Bhojani.
