UAE based Information Communication and Technology company, RobotTami, has hurled its first robotic educational kit with comprehensive curriculum from Kindergarten to higher secondary grade in Middle East and Africa region.
The concept has been introduced in the region with the collaboration of Robo Tami, a South Korean brand of robotics educational kits with indigenous manufacturing and a joint research and development center with South Korean Government pertaining to global robotics education.
“Our aim is to shape the children by infusing them with hands on experiences of basic engineering and programing with logical thinking and problem solving ability coupled with the creative convergence of STEAM educational model,” said Khalid Al-Aswadi, Head of Project Robo Tami, Middle East.
He further pointed out that today’s biggest dilemma of of the youth is the bombardment of technological tools with leisure and fun on their heads that takes them away from reading productive books and focused learning. “Whilst keeping in mind the today’s requirement of the kids we have designed user friendly and interactive curriculum for teaching them robotics education on STEAM educational framework that allows them to refocus on reading with lots of fecund learning with fun,” he explained.
“We have comprehensive robotic curriculum for different ages and it has been implemented in hundreds and hundreds of schools in more than twenty developed and developing countries. We have curriculum for the children ages from 05 to 15 years with different series like junior series, science lab series and ace lab series for educating child with the creative convergence of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM),” added Jin-Heon Cho, International Marketing Director, Robo Tami.
“We also train and guide the school teachers about robotic education with complete integration of it with customize solutions with full fledge teachers training for schools so they transform same to the students,” added Mr Cho.
Robo Tami Middle East will arrange training sessions for children ages from 05 to 14 years at different community centers and support schools and educational institutions for their extra curriculum activities by organizing gaming contests & competitions throughout the region.
Al Razihi Group (Robot MEA) had officially launched RobotTami earlier in March during the GESS Exhibition and announced a campaign ‘Educate to innovate’, actively organizing robotic workshop, events and competitions throughout the region with the help of big groups and partners.
