Twitter Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has taken on board Walid Issa as its new Head of Research for the MENA region.
Mr Issa’s primary role will be helping marketers across the region understand the value of their Twitter investments, and in using Twitter data to improve their entire marketing mix.
Prior to joining Twitter, he led strategic planning for Chevrolet in the Middle East at the brand’s global creative agency, Commonwealth-McCann. Earlier, Walid led the research and insights function at Abu Dhabi Media across its TV channels, radio stations, publications and digital platforms.
Mr Issa would be reporting to Jake Steadman, International Research Director at Twitter.
