Making its global debut, ‘Nissan Patrol: The Movie’ used the latest in green screen technology and blockbuster cinema camera equipment so that people can have the chance to star in an action-packed movie trailer, featuring the 2016 Nissan Patrol. Coached by world renowned film directors, aspiring stars recorded a series of short acting scenes, which were quickly edited to produce a thrilling action movie trailer, featuring the person as ‘Agent 23’, which was available for them to share on their social media channels. The Nissan Patrol: The Movie trailer features two secret agents each in Nissan cars in a desert location car chase showdown. The actor becomes ‘Agent 23’ within the trailer, as they battle it out across the desert in an ultimate face-off, featuring the All New Nissan Maxima and the Nissan Patrol.

“We didn’t want to go with the concept of VR for PR. Instead we wanted to bring a unique experience for visitors through which they get an experience, which is not just physical but virtual. We tried to give both, experience as well as something that the customers can take away with them. The experience is recorded which they can share with friends on social media but also get the feel and touch of the car. If a customer wants to buy a car, the most important for him is to feel the metal, so we thought of an experience that gave that touch of the car but also gave something else to the customer. The entire thing was borne out of trying to do something radical and different and have that sensory experience”, shared David Parkinson, Head of Digital, Africa, Middle East & India for Nissan Motors.
