Globally, free delivery has a 20+ percentage-point lead over the next most important online purchase driver tracked by Global Web Index (quick and easy checkout processes). Nearly a 60 percent of digital consumers in the Middle East and North Africa region say the offer of free delivery would make them more likely to buy online.

While offering free delivery may be a costly initiative for retailers, it’s clear that it is an essential strategy for convincing consumers to hit the purchase button.
