International Government Communication Centre of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) will host an interactive session at the Sharjah International Book Fair titled ‘Leading Creativity in Government Communication’. The session will be led by international motivational speaker Kevin Abdul Rahman on November 1-2, 2017.
This is the first International Government Communication Centre (IGCC) partnership with the popular Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) and seeks to enhance its role in developing government communication in the region, arming it with new insights and ideas in this fast developing field.
The IGCC interactive session targets workers in government communication sector and university students looking to embrace it as a career and will discuss the ways of changing one’s way of thinking and unleashing their creative potential.
Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council (SMC) stressed the importance of the Centre to attract international expertise to support the capabilities and performance of government communication staff and to arm them with the knowledge of the best international practices in government communication.
He further added that the IGCC is participating in the SIBF for the first time and focusses on the importance of interactive communication, which has become a key player in institutional work in various entities.
He called on all those working in the government communication sector as well as private sector in Sharjah and other emirates to be part of one of a kind interactive session.
Kevin Abdul Rahman is a leading motivational speaker and trainer who conducts more than 300 interactive sessions for senior government figures and heads of Fortune 500 companies. Author of a number of books, his work has been translated into more than 30 languages.
