Leo Burnett Scores High In Interactive Lynx Shortlist; Memac Ogilvy Follows

There is a healthy increase in the number of entries in Interactive Lynx this year – from the 98 entries competing in 2014, there are 154 entries in the category this year – a number that was last seen in 2012. Of these, 28 have made it to the shortlist. Leo Burnett has scored the highest number of shortlisted entries (eight entries), followed by Memac Ogilvy. BBDO also have four shortlisted entries, though with two of its agency brands – three from IMPACT BBDO Beirut and one from BBDO Pakistan.

Publicis Middle East and Republique Beirut have three entries each in the Interactive Lynx shortlist.

The Jury President for this category is Joyce King Thomas, the Chairman, Chief Creative Officer of McCannXBC, a unit of McCann that leads all of MasterCard’s global marketing, from advertising to digital to events.

The other jury members include Grant Hunter, Regional Executive Creative Director, iris worldwide; Guan Hin Tay, Regional Executive Creative Director, Southeast Asia and Lux Global ECD, JWT; Marc Landsberg, CEO, SOCIALDEVIANT, The Netherlands, Rogier Vijverberg, Executive Creative Director/Founder, SuperHeros and Yutaro Kojima, Creative Strategist, Facebook.

Now in its eighth year, the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity is a meeting place for the
Middle East and North Africa region’s (MENA) advertising and communications industry. Entry categories for the Dubai Lynx Awards are: Film, Film Craft, Print, Print & Poster Craft, Outdoor, Radio, Media, Direct, Promo & Activation, Interactive, Integrated, Design, Mobile, PR and Branded Content & Entertainment. This year has seen a record 2,473 entries from 21 countries.

Dubai Lynx is part of Lions Festivals, organisers of Cannes Lions, Lions Health, Lions Innovation, Spikes Asia, Eurobest and the Asian Marketing Effectiveness and Strategy Awards.
