Cheil’s ‘#BeFearless’ Campaign Wins At Lovie, Spikes Asia

Cheil MENA has been rewarded alongside several other Cheil global offices for its contributions to the global #BeFearless campaign. The project was a collaborative effort across several Cheil offices including HQ in Seoul, Germany, UAE and Russia.

#BeFearless is part of “Launching People”, an overarching campaign, in a search for innovative ideas that can demonstrate how powerful technology can be when it comes to solving real challenges that society faces.

The campaign utilised Samsung’s innovative VR technology to help people conquer their fears of heights and public speaking by simulating similar environments in virtual reality. In doing so, the subjects were empowered to achieve more than they thought was possible and set new goals even higher than before.

The campaign won a Bronze in the PR category at Spikes Asia along with scooping a Gold at the Lovie Awards in the Mobile & Applications: Experimental & Innovation category. It also won the People’s Choice award for the category. The innovative campaign also bagged Silver in Mobile & Applications: Best Practice category while again taking the People’s Choice Award title in this category too.
