The competition, which has been held in Egypt in the cities of Cairo and Alexandria between July 22, and set to conclude on August 5 2017, will see 12 of the region’s best sides compete against each other in a tournament with three groups of four competing to qualify. The winners of each pool will progress along with the best performing second-placed side.
