The One Club for Creativity has released its ADC Awards rankings for this year and amongst some of the top creative heads in the advertising industry globally, the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) region’s creative professionals have also won a spot in the rankings.
Paul Shearer, Chief Creative Officer at BBDO MENA and Ali Rez, Regional Executive Director at Impact BBDO Middle East & Pakistan are among the top 20 creatives in the ADC rankings.
While Mr Shearer stands at number 18 in the CCO rankings, Mr Rez is at number 16 in the ECD rankings.
Speaking on this recognition with The Arabian Marketer, Mr Rez said, “It’s an incredible honor to represent MENAP on such a prestigious list – wonderful to see that the region continues to perform as a creative powerhouse and gets recognized globally. It’s
very motivating and inspiring to work with creative leaders like Dani Richa and Paul Shearer, who constantly push you to do the best possible work.’
Three Creative Directors from the MENAP region are also in the rankings. Assam Khalid, who was previously with BBDO Pakistan as a Creative Director and currently is ECD with Ogilvy Pakistan is also in the list of top Creative Directors on the 22 position.
Sharing the ranking with him are Hira Mohibullah, currently ECD at BBDO Pakistan and Moiz Khan, Creative Director at BBDO Pakistan.
In the agency rankings, Impact BBDO Dubai is on the 17th position.
The rankings are a list of all agency creatives who are included in the credits of winning work, ranked in order based on the number of points for the work they worked on, that won a Cube, Merit or special awards.
