Counted among one of the most coveted accounts of the year, Expo 2020 Dubai has now finalized its media partner, following a hotly contested pitch process. Publicis Media Middle East’s Starcom has bagged the big win.
Expo 2020 had recently also finalized Memac Ogilvy as its creative agency.
As is known, Expo 2020 will take place in Dubai from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021.
The development has been confirmed by highly placed industry sources. An official comment is still awaited. It is expected that the development comes with immediate implications for the agencies.
In preparation of the mega event, Expo 2020 Dubai has been signing on partners who would collaborate to create an unprecedented experience for the 25 million global visitors expected to attend the event.
Expo 2020 has joined hands with the likes of PepsiCo (signed on as a brand for good), Cisco, Accenture, DP World, Emirates Airlines, Emirates NBD, Etisalat, Nissan, SAP and Siemens. DEWA and UPS are the Official Partners named so far.
