Globally, online adults are devoting an average of just over six hours per day to the internet, with mobiles making up just over a third of this time, as per Global Web Index (GWI). While Brazil leads the way here, UAE takes the second spot. Digital consumers in the UAE are averaging a mighty four hours on mobile, accounting for almost half of the total time they spend online.
Saudi Arabia also features among the top countries globally that reflect this trend, with onliners spending just under four hours through their mobile screens.
Considering that most of the top markets are from the Middle East, Asia Pacific and other Latin American countries, it is evident that fast-growth markets remain at the forefront of the charge to mobile.
