Earlier this week, the Marketing Kingdom Middle East second edition was trending in Qatar. Marketing experts from Twitter, Yahoo!, the Body Shop, eBay, Cambridge University and Virgin Media were part of this marketing conference discussing the impact of social media activities and personalized marketing. The event, that had Benjamin Ampen, Head of Sales, Twitter MENA, as its key speaker was trending on the first day with the #tmkme2.
Wednesday was a nostalgic day for all the fans of the futuristic movie “Back To The Future” released in 1989. In the film, Marty McFly travels from 1985 to Oct. 21, 2015 to save his future children with Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in his DeLorean turned time machine. The movie also depicted the year 2015 with people whizzing around hoverboards. Fans shared their thoughts and feelings with #backtothefuture.
The week ended with Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer “Shandaar” amongst the top five trending. The movie released this week with fans expressing love for the stars and the movie with the hashtag #shandaar.
