Video-on-demand service for emerging markets, Vuclip, a PCCW Media company, has appointed Sherif Dahan as Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This move comes ahead of the anticipated launch of Viu, Vuclip’s new video-streaming service, in the region.
In his new role, Mr Dahan will oversee the operations and strategic direction for the new service in the region. With more than 19 years of experience in the digital media and solutions industry, he will be responsible for driving consumer adoption, engagement and monetization for the Viu brand in the region through strategic partnerships, service innovation and consumer insights. Prior to joining Vuclip, Mr Dahan was instrumental in establishing the first digital gamification agency in MENA. He was also the Managing Director for MSN Arabia, and helmed the Arabian Gulf operations for LINKdotNET.
