With McDonald’s set to unveil order-and-pay technology in its mobile app in some markets this year, it is interesting to take a look at the top ways its customers interact with brands online. Above all, McDonald’s Customers are most likely to be visiting a brand’s website. But particularly relevant here is that they are 65 percent more likely to have downloaded or used a branded app, with just under a quarter reporting that they have done so in the last month.
Also, three of the five biggest over-indexes are for social interactions in the case of McDonald’s. Almost one in five are asking questions to brands on social networks each month, and they are 70 percent more likely to be interacting with brands on messaging apps.
