BBDO Worldwide has announced restructuring at the regional management level following which Dani Richa, who was earlier handling the role of Chairman & CEO MENA region for BBDO will now also take additional responsibility of entire Africa for the agency.
The announcement comes following the appointment of Chris Thomas as the new CEO for The Americas who was earlier CEO of Asia and MEA. While Mr Richa takes on the additional charge, Jean-Paul Burge becomes Chairman and CEO of BBDO Asia.
Speaking on the additional charge of Mr Richa, Andrew Robertson, President and CEO, BBDO Worldwide, commented, “Under Dani’s leadership, BBDO MENA is coming off its best year ever, against every possible metric, with Impact BBDO having been ranked the #1 agency in the region across all marketing communications in the Directory Big Won and BBDO named Network of the Year at the Cristal Awards Festival – the first time in its history.”
