Following a three way pitch, BPG Cohn & Wolfe has been appointed to build and grow Guinness World Records’ consumer brand awareness across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The PR agency was competing with M&C Saatchi and Fleishman Hillard.
This is the first time that Guinness World Records has hired an agency from the region to handle its PR remit since it opened office in Dubai in 2013.
The remit there is to increase awareness among children, families and young adults, including creative campaigns, plus regional events and promotion of its commercial offering.
The agency will build stronger brand awareness and engagement with the public, business and government bodies in a part of the world where record breaking has become increasingly popular and valued,” said Kevin Hasler, Managing Director, BPG Cohn & Wolfe.
