Consumers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia are all geared up for Ramadan. According to a YouGov Ramadan survey, over half of the residents in the two markets are expecting the prices for goods and services to rise in the Holy Month.
Delving deeper into consumer behavior during the month, the study has highlighted the top three categories people are expected to be spending on.
Consumers look forward to the good deals in Ramadan, and marketers offer it in various formats and ways. No surprises that the top three continue to be on similar lines as in every year.
And it would appear social media takes precedence this Ramadan as well.
