Spread Communications Looks To Encourage Local Artists

Spread Communications is supporting local artists with the launch of Spread UNDERGROUND. Dubbed as a CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative, the project will offer local artists public relations services to build their profiles as pro bono.

Spread UNDERGROUND, aimed at aspiring and established artists such as actors, singers, songwriters and athletes, provides the opportunity to boost careers of younger and new talent. The objective is to affiliate the underground talent in our region with key media and help them gain exposure in the public eye.

“We come across several talented individuals in the region and they all lack real promotional capability. We are hoping to change this by acting as a vehicle to help promote and expose local artists to the media,” said Shamim Kassibawi, Managing Director, Spread Communications.

Some of the artists already supported by Spread UNDERGROUND include Stephon Lamar – a singer with a track record from the heart of New York, Chriss Brizzy – a Lebanese rapper based in Dubai, Dukkan Show – a Podcast on ITunes in the region.
