The Lisbon International Advertising Festival is all geared up to kick off the second edition of the Festival. Said to take place on September 21, at Microsoft Portugal’s headquarters in Lisbon’s Parque das Nações, the Festival will start taking submission of works from the February 6, 2017. It will also make tickets available for the Festival on the same date.
The Festival has also named the President of its Executive Jury – Jacques Séguéla, founder of Euro RSCG (current Havas) and author of several iconic global ads. One of the most celebrated names in advertising, Mr Séguéla will serve as the Executive Jury President. In addition to the work that he has done for brands, Mr Séguéla is also known for having managed electoral campaigns for several politicians such as François Mitterrand, Lionel Jospin, Ehud Barak and Ricardo Lagos.
The event will also see Mr Séguéla honored with the Festival’s Career Award.
