Bayer, a life science company with over a 150-year history in health care and agriculture, has assigned Cheil to launch, build and manage its regional Facebook led social media profile in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Effective immediately, Cheil will provide a full suite of strategic creative services for Bayer Middle East regional Facebook profile aimed at building brand awareness among its external and internal stakeholders. As a first foray into the pharmaceutical industry, Cheil’s mission is to position Bayer as a life science and innovation company in the Middle East and extend its visibility in the Middle East’s social landscape.
“As Bayer continues to grow in the market, we needed a partner to further accelerate our growth. Cheil’s strategic roadmap, along with a deep understanding of our offering presented during the pitch, was clear and evident and in complete harmony with our vision. With all our existing and potential customer base as well as employees now actively involved on the social platforms, its only right to engage with them there. With the proven capability in managing small-to-large social media campaigns, we are really pleased to have found the right partner in Cheil,” said Nadine Fanous, Head of Communications & PGA, Bayer.
“This is an exciting phase for us, partnering with such a renowned entity as Bayer to evolve and expand their communications approaches. Our use of data to drive audience and creative performance enables us to tailor engagement strategies across the region. The real time learnings also provide invaluable insights that inform other channels, optimise our planning strategies and uncover new insights,” Simon Ashwin, Chief Digital Officer at CHEIL MENA.
