The Epica Awards are set for 2018 edition. Epica has shortlisted finalists, and will reveal winners in the event in Amsterdam scheduled from November 12-14, 2018. From the region, five entries have been made it to the shortlist – all from FP7. FP7 Cairo has three entries and two from FP7/MENA.
FP7 Cairo’s shortlisted entries are all for the work done for telecom company Orange, titled ‘Now or Never’, in the categories of Communication & Public Services, Humor and World Cup Advertising.
FP7 MENA has two entries shortlisted – Babyshop with ‘Al Umobuwah: Putting Mum into Parenthood’ in Retail Services and Mashrou’ Leila with ‘Roman: An Ode toArab Feminism’ in Branded Content – Music Video.
This year Epica received 4020 entries from 69 countries, which the award organizers say is a 20 percent increase on the previous year.
Gold and Grand Prix winners will be awarded during a ceremony at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute on the evening of November 15. Silver and Bronze winners will be published on the Epica Awards website next day, November 16.
