Initiative MENA has appointed Ghayath Sioufi as its new Regional Business Director. Mr Sioufi will serve key accounts and will be responsible for driving the agency’s regional program across the MENA markets. He will also be responsible for driving new business across all disciplines for Initiative.
“Ghayath has a key role leading our offering in the agency. His background and expertise in the MENA region will serve Initiative well. We look forward to working with him in our ongoing efforts to continue building our business,” commented Ramzy Abou Chacra, Initiative’s Regional Managing Director.
Mr Sioufi brings experience of more than 18 years working on both, agency and marketer side across various MENA markets. This includes working with agencies such as Starcom in the Levant, and Mindshare in Saudi Arabia. On the marketer side, he has worked with regional telecommunication providers such as Nawras in Oman and du in UAE where he spearheaded the marketing communication and media division. Most recently, Mr Sioufi was leading digital and social media agencies in Dubai.
