One Show Encourages Entrants With The ‘One Shower’ VR Experience

Many in the industry believe that the best creative ideas usually comes when in the shower. One Show picked up on this thought in its latest video, urging the creative community to submit their entries before January 27, 2017.

Created by Rethink, One Show has launched a Virtual Reality (VR) 360 shower ‘One Shower’, prompting creative minds to hop in the shower wherever they are, and come up with brilliant ideas.

To further help creatives get in the awards mood, the One Show created a custom Google Cardboard template shaped like its iconic Pencil award to view the ad it in a complete 360 experience.

“The old adage is that we’re most creative in the shower. So we decided to help creatives come up with award-winning ideas anytime, anywhere by bringing the shower directly to their device,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Show.

This year, the One Show’s call for entry highlights all the benefits afforded to One Show winners with a campaign called ‘One is all it takes’.
