Pizza Hut Teams Up With YouTube Sensation Alaa Wardi

Pizza Hut has embarked on #IDoDare campaign in an attempt to allow customers to readily decide on the kind, number and mixture of toppings that they would like on their pizza. These toppings can include anything from veggies to different kinds of cheeses to other varieties of meat. The customers are then asked to click the picture of their customized pizza on Twitter with the #IDoDare. The winner of this campaign would be rewarded with a customized pizza on the official menu at Pizza Hut.

Besides this concept of ‘a customer-tailored pizza’, Pizza Hut has gone a step ahead in its venture by including innovative Cappella artist Alaa Wardi to introduce the challenge to customers. This ad shows Alaa Wardi playing his music while enjoying a pizza, with the toppings of his choice. Alaa Wardi’s rise to become YouTube sensation included him continuously trying to come up with innovative ways to present his music. His presence in the ad symbolizes Pizza Hut’s message of ‘daring to try something new’.
