We start this weeks section on the trending headlines with the news of the Egypt Air flight, which as we had reported last week was reported missing. Later reports confirmed the tragic news of the plane being found crashed in the Mediterranean Sea. However, the black box for the aircraft is still missing, making the reason for the crash still unknown.
On a lighter note, this week saw the trailer launch of one of the most awaited Bollywood movie, Sultan, which obviously made it to the trending news on Twitter. The movie has made history even before its release as it crossed 5 million views in just three days.
Last week saw a lot happening in Soccer and in Cricket. Cup competitions were concluded in four countries. Manchester United won the FA cup in England, Bayern Munich won the DFB-Pokal Cup in Germany, Barcelona won the Copa del rey in Spain, and lastly Juventus won the Copa Italia in Italy. In Cricket, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have booked their place in the 2016 IPL final, scheduled to take place on May 29th. We still await the second team to play in the final, which will be decided by the match between Gujrat Lions and Sunrisers Hydrebad.
