When KFC, Pepsi & Hussain Al Jassmi Meet, It’s Magic

KFC and Pepsi may well be a perfect combo for fried chicken and burger lovers, but add music to that, and the package is a wholesome punch of entertainment. In a combined effort to surprise and delight their customers, KFC and Pepsi joined hands to invite UAE music artist Hussain Al Jassmi, who played all roles from taking orders to delivering them, and doing so musically.

The initiative, that was carried across three key markets – Cairo, Kuwait and Casablanca, asked customers to ‘Sing out their orders’. Hussain Al Jassmi visited KFC call centers in all the three markets and heard customers, sing, rap, and even tune up the Egypt National Anthem in one case before the team selected winners from these callers.

The winners’ big reward was when Hussain Al Jassmi himself delivered the orders, spending time with the winning families. Hussain Al Jassmi commented that the exercise of taking the orders to the family was a delight for him.

The campaign not only saw two key brands come together to create a special moment for customers but also marks KFC Arabia’s 50-year anniversary celebrations.
