“I’m delighted to take on the role as the Chairman of The Marketing Society Middle East. We already have a busy agenda for 2016 and our themes will focus on digital, global vs. local, talent, data, innovation and creativity. This will spark interesting conversations and provide a strong platform to bring together diverse ideas from our members who come from a wide variety of industries. We are excited to have a presence in Dubai and look forward to further increasing and diversifying our membership base,” shared Mr Asad.

Created to inspire bolder marketing leadership among senior in-house marketers, The Marketing Society Middle East will bring together some of the region’s most seasoned marketers to learn, develop and share best practices.

“Two years ago we took our first steps in the Society’s global expansion when we opened international hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore. The launch of our latest hub in the Middle East is a natural next step for us and one I’m personally very excited about. Dubai’s cosmopolitan and dynamic business environment is a perfect fit for everything the Society stands for and we’re keen to explore and embrace everything the marketing community in this area has to offer. Our aim is to represent the leading marketers in the region by 2017,” shared Gemma Greaves, Global Managing Director, The Marketing Society.
In line with the UAE’s National agenda, ‘Vision 2021’, which aims to drive innovation and creativity among diverse business sectors, The Marketing Society Middle East will be heavily involved in connecting experts with diverse backgrounds, to work towards bringing global best practices into the market.
Members of The Marketing Society Middle East will benefit from events programme with influential speakers, profile-raising opportunities on the Society’s editorial platforms, networking opportunities with the best-in-class marketers, and access to a wealth of information on the Society’s content library. A complimentary subscription to the Society’s quarterly industry publication, Market Leader, is also included. Additionally, members can participate in professional development initiatives and the well-established Awards programme, which has been setting the standard of marketing excellence in the UK for the last 31 years.
